Prof. Rajendra Prasad Das

Prof. Rajendra Prasad Das has teaching career spread over more than three decades starting  from XLRI Jamshedpur, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Vikram University, Ujjain and Professor of  Management in Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur from 2003 (Continuing). He was  visiting faculty to IIM, Raipur and several leading business schools of the country. 

Before joining IGNOU, he completed his full term as Vice-Chancellor of Berhampur University,  Berhampur, Odisha from 4th August, 2016 to 2nd August, 2019. Prof. Das has Administrative  experience of more than two decades in various positions and responsibilities. He was Director,  Institute of Management, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur for more than 10 years.  While serving in Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, he served as Member, Executive Council  (Thrice), Six times Dean Faculty of Management Studies, Member, Academic Council,  Chairman, Board of Studies in Management for more than a decade, Director, College  Development Council, Chief Warden, Secretary, University Industry Partnership Council (UIPC)  and several other academic and administrative responsibilities. He was Chairman of Central  Board of Studies in Management for Unified Syllabus in Management, Govt. of Chhattisgarh  from 2014 to 2016 and Member, Governing Board of Chhattisgarh Administrative Academy,  Kendriya Vidyalaya, Raipur and several other institutions. He also acted as Member/Chairman  in various AICTE, NAAC, UGC teams and member of UGC SAP to different universities. 

Prof. Das obtained his Ph.D. in Management from Kurukshetra University, Haryana and FDPM  (IIM, Ahmedabad). Under his supervision 12 Ph.D. scholars have been awarded Ph.D and five  books are published to his credit. He is member of Editorial Boards of several Management Journals and has published 95 papers in different national and international Journals. He  participated in more than 100 national and international conferences held in India and abroad.  He was given Best Management Teacher Award by Rotary Club and Lions Club, Raipur (CG).
