Dr. Sunil Kumar joined planning and Development Division (P&DD), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi in 1997. Has 22 years of experience in Open and Distance Learning (ODL). He also worked with Academic Coordination Division (ACD), Student Registration Division (SRD), and Student Evaluation Division (SED). He holds a Doctorate Degree in Web mediated education. His research interest includes social media in education, e-learning, course management system, planning and funding of distance education. He as Sr. Analyst at IGNOU has been engaged in analysis and research in planning, functioning, funding and evaluating of delivery of higher and continuing education through distance mode from past 15 years. He authored more than 30 papers, three monogram, and two books . In past five years, he has published research paper in the field of web-tools, e-learning and e-books, social media, plagiarism.
