Computer School Textbooks Development:

As part of Computer-Based Elementary Education under SSA (EFA), the IUC (presently COE) developed computer education curriculum and computer text books for grades VI, VII,  VIII,  IX, X for the state of Punjab. Eight text books, based on the syllabus of CBSE, NCERT and the state government requirements, have been developed by a team of 25 experts. The project was coordinated by the Director, IUC (presently COE). 

Multimedia CDs Development:

IUC (presently COE) is involved in the instructional design and development of interactive multimedia CD-ROMs for school and higher education. MPBOU signed an MOU in May, 2004 with SSA-Punjab to develop 10 interactive multimedia CD-ROMs for grades VI, VII and VIII in subject areas of English, Mathematics and Science under the Computer-Based Elementary Education programme of MHRD. IGNOU-MPBOU had developed 4 Content CDs and one Teacher CD in 2004 for SSA-Punjab in Gurumukhi which were highly appreciated by SSA-P.
