Dr. Amiteshwar Ratra
Assistant Professor
Amiteshwar Ratra, Ph.D., is Professor at STRIDE at the Indira Gandhi National Open University. She has a rich and varied experience in the areas of Child Development, Human Development and Family Studies, Education, Distance Education, and Disability Studies. She is Research Degree Programme, Distance Education - Co-Coordinator. She is Course Coordinator of MDE 416 course of MADE programme. She is also Course Co-Coordinator of MDE 415 course of MADE programme. She is also the joint Programme Coordinator of the Master’s programme in Counselling and Family Therapy and Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy of IGNOU. She has presented many research papers in both national and international conferences. She has contributed three books in socio-psychological domains and written and edited many chapters in eminent publications and written research papers in peer reviewed journals. She has completed three programme evaluation studies at STRIDE. She is guiding research scholars for both PhD and MPhil in Distance Education.
