Professor
Prof. D Venkateshwarlu, Former Director, School of Education, IGNOU holds master’s Degrees in Science and Education. His areas of specialization are Special/Inclusive Education and Teaching-Learning Process. From master’s degree, he is working with Children with Special Needs (CWSN). He worked with children with Intellectual Disability for his M. Phil Degree, from Centre of Advanced Studies in Education, M.S University of Baroda, Baroda, and Mathematical Learning Difficulties for his PhD Degree from MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly.
He is a Certified Rehabilitation Professional, Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi. He is presently associated with NAAC, National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, Secunderabad as Expert Member Academic Committee, Department of Intellectual Disability, DR. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow and Department of Education, School of Education, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh as Member, Board of Studies.
He has published one book, one source book, 16 chapters in books and 38 research publications in journals. Ten research scholars have completed PhD under his supervision. He is coordinator of the programmes B. Ed and Post Graduate Certificate in Information and Assistive Technologies for the Instructors of Visually Impaired (PGCIATIVI).
