Mr. Vikash Kumar Singh

Assistant Professor

 

Vikash Kumar Singh studied at the School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is specialized in Teaching and Learning Spanish at the Centro de Formación de Profesores del Instituto Cervantes in Spain. He is also trained in centres of excellence related to Spanish studies, teaching methodology and Spanish language teacher’s-training programmes at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo, Universidad de Valladolid, Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, Spain and so on.

 

Currently, he is an Assistant Professor of Spanish [stage 2] at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) where he is responsible for the supervision of all aspects of the Spanish language courses.

He is also a recipient of several research fellowships, which sponsored him as a Visiting Research Scholar at several institutions and universities in Spain. He has presented papers in several national and international conferences and has a number of publications in national and international journals.

He has also provided professional consultancy in the field of Spanish translation and interpretation to several private and public institutions.
