Friday Seminar Series
 
Under the Sliver Jubilee Seminar Series, the School has introduced Friday Seminar Series and so far conducted nine seminars.
 
The First Friday Seminar series entitled ‘Women in Power’ was delivered by Ms Brinda Karat, 28 August, 2009.
 
The Second Friday Seminar series entitled ‘Gender Aspects of ICT’ was delivered by Prof KR Srivathsan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, IGNOU, 30th Oct, 2009.
 
The Third Friday seminar series entitled ‘Whose Babasaheb?’ delivered by Prof Gail Omvedt, 27th November, 2009.
 
The Fourth Friday seminar series entitled ‘The Role of Women in Social Movements of Iran’ lectured by Prof Ramin Johanbegloo, 17th December, 2009.
 
The Fifth Friday seminar series entitled ‘Travails of North Eastern People in Delhi’ delivered by Meera Ranjan Tshering, Sunita Singh, Sen Gupta, DN Gupta and  Rosy Yumnam, 13th November, 2009.
 
The Sixth Friday seminar series entitled ‘Reflections on Nation and Culture’ delivered by ProfAijaz Ahmed, 8th January, 2010.
 
The Seventh Friday seminar series entitled ‘Intellectual Property, Women and Aboriginal Stories in Contemporary Canada’ delivered by Prof Margery Fee, 19th February, 2010.

The school has organised the National Seminar on 'Household an Its Labouring Women: Measuring and Valuing Domestic Labour in India' , 26 February, 2010 .

The Schools has organised an event on the International Women’s Day, 8th March, 2010 .
