Dr. Deeksha Dave

Assistant Professor

Dr. Deeksha Dave is working as Assistant Professor, Environmental Studies, School of Interdisciplinary and Trans-disciplinary Studies, IGNOU since 2011. She is M.Sc. (Gold Medalist) in Environmental Sciences from M.L.S. University, Udaipur. She holds double doctorate degree from M.L. Sukhadia University, Udaipur. She has done M.B.A. from Sikkim Manipal University and Master of Distance Education from IGNOU. She has authored several textbooks on Environmental Studies published by Cengage Publishing Private Limited. She has published a number of research papers and articles and attended several national and international seminars and conferences. At IGNOU, she is coordinatingAppreciation Course on Population and Sustainable Development, M.Sc. Environmental Science, Certificate in Solid Waste Management and co-coordinating Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental and Occupational Health and Ph.D. Environmental Science. Her area of research includes ethno botany, waste management and sustainable development.
