AICTE approval not necessary for IGNOU B.Tech. Degree/Diplomas: Supreme Court
20 August, 2018In a recent judgement in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 382 of 2018 delivered on 30 July 2018, the Hon’ble Supreme court of India has ruled that AICTE approval for IGNOU’s B.Tech. degree/Diplomas is not necessary. This verdict has given big relief to the students who had earned their B.Tech Degree/Diplomas from IGNOU.
It is hoped that IGNOU’s B.Tech Degree/Diploma holders, who had faced problems in their respective organizations would get due benefits in recruitment/promotion and further higher studies.
