This non-credit programme was developed in Collaboration with the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India. The programme imparts knowledge and technical proficiency in Dairy Farm Management Practices, Animal Healthcare, Fodder Production and Clean Milk Production etc. It also encourages entrepreneurship among the youth for self-employment.

• Dairy farm women
• Agricultural labourers and the Rural Youth
• Members of dairy co-operative societies, Milk Federation, Unions, NGOs, SHGs.

Counselling sessions:
The programme has both theory and practical components with equal weightage. There are 16 days of counselling sessions which includes theory and practical. The participation in the counselling session is an integral part of the programme. 75% attendance in the counselling session is compulsory to get participation certificate from the School. The counselling sessions are held at the study centres according to the schedule drawn by the programme-in-charge. The details of the study centre can be obtained from the IGNOU website or concerned regional centres.
