Before joining IGNOU, he worked as a Project Manager in Dell Services India Pvt Ltd, Noida. He has very long experience in Software Development Life Cycle at Staffing Solutions India Pvt Ltd; Redbrigade UK Ltd; Network Program (P) Ltd; Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts; and Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.

His specializations are Management Information System, Software Engineering, Multimedia Application Development, Improving Quality Process, Re-Engineering and Reverse Engineering.

He is currently coordinating activities of IGNOU Online programmes (IOP), Learning Management Systems (LMS), SWAYAM PRABHA and SAMARTH Project.  He contributed to Online Question Paper delivery system (OQPDS), Monitoring of SWAYAM course examinations and Monitoring of Online Remote-proctored Examinations for National and International learners. He has contributed to design, develop and implemented Online Admission System of IGNOU during the years 2012-2016.  He coordinated for the implementation Recruitment Portal on SAMARTH portal for Teaching and Non-Teaching posts and during the years 2019-2021. He also coordinated with NTA/NIC team for the Entrance test appliation tasks for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, MBA and B.Ed programmes for admission sessions of 2019-2021.

His area of interest is Training, Research and Development of ICT applications on Open Digital Learning. He has published more than 25 research articles in reputed journals in ODL, technologies and software engineering.
