Dr. Priyanka Suryavanshi, Associate Professor, Child Development Discipline, School of Continuing Education had obtained her PhD. Degree from Baba Saheb Bheem Rao Ambedkar University in Human Development and family studies. She was awarded the Chancellors Gold Medal at Graduation level in BSc Home Science Honours from CSA University of Agriculture and Technology. Further she held 7^th RankIn All India Competitive Examination I.C.A.R. JRF and completed M.Sc with specialization in major field child guidance and family counselling  in 2008 securing 91% from Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. She was earlier working as Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science, KMC Language State Government University. Being founder member established the department of home science at KMC language university & performed the duty of Department In-charge from 2013 to 2021. She had also held different administrative posts as Executive Council member, Academic council member, Universities Court member, Associate Dean Faculty of Science, PhD. Coordinator, Warden, DSW member, Member admission committee, IQAC Member, NAAC Committee Member, Cultural Secretary, Internal Complaint Committee Member, RUSA Co coordinator at KMCLU. She had published around twenty-two research and review papers in journal of national and international repute. Had authored three books and edited one. Had contributed 13 chapters in different books and organized around 13 seminars and conferences. She has been actively working for women and children’s issues and presently is working on two projects related to it.A minor project granted by Indian Council of Social Science Research ICSSR ON 6^th of April 2022 entitled “Awareness about early stimulation and nutrition for improving physical and cognitive development of children at AWC (Anganwadi Centers) of High Burden District of Central Regions of Uttar Pradesh, India'' as Project Director” & a minor project by U.P. government higher education entitled as “ Provision Of Nutritional and Educational Awareness to Caregivers in Destitute Homes of Lucknow Mandal on Basis of Health Status of Early Childhood Aged (0-6 Years) Children” as Co-P.I. She had received “Shikshak Samman In 2021 By Up Government Higher Education Department”, Indo-Nepal Samrasta Award 2019 given by Indo-Nepal Samrasta Organization, Best Poster Presentation Award in Science for Society: An Interdisciplinary Approach, 3rd Lucknow Science Congress and National Conference 31st Oct- 2nd Nov 2015, At BBAU, Lucknow, Best Poster Presentation Award in Science Technology & Innovations for Sustainable Development, 4th Lucknow Science Congress Luscon, 3-4 March/2017 At BBAU, Lucknow and Second Prize in Poster Presentation Award In National Conference On Tourist And Green Spaces: Healthier Lifestyle Approaches From Nature Supported By: Ministry Of Tourism Govt.
