Joined IGNOU as a Cameraperson on 24th Feb 2014.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Three years diploma in Photography & cinematography from RIPT Kolkata.
• Bachelor's Degree-B.A (Guwahati University)
• MA in Distance Education from IGNOU.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES (2001 to 2013)

• As a casual cameraperson for DDK Guwahati & Dibrugarh.
• As a cameraperson in Star News Guwahati, in contract basis.
• Worked as a cameraperson in 37 documentaries and 19 fiction serials under commissioned programmed for DDK Ghy,Dibrugarh, Silchar,Kohima,Shillong and Tura.
• Worked as a cameraperson for 'making of the film’ in a bi-lingual Hindi feature film “As The River flows”, under NFDC.
• Worked as a co-cameraperson in two documentaries, for Suravi Foundation Mumbai, made for National Geographic channel and for OXFEM USA, in Kolkata.
• Worked as a cameraperson for more than 10 reality shows for channels like Zee News, News Live, DY365 and not less than 100 music videos and 20 short films.
• As a DOP in two documentary films, ‘The Golden Journey Of Assam Gas Company’ and ‘MRITYU UPOTYOKYA’.
• As a DOP in two Assamese feature films ‘RANANGAN’ released on April 19,2013 and ‘DURJON’ released on October 25th 2013.

ACHIEVEMENTS
• As a co-cameraperson in a Documentary titled, ‘Bhraimoman Theatre-Where Othello sails with Titanic’ under B. Kotoky, Mumbai Which has Won a special mention on the 53rd National Film Award.
• Cameraperson in musical travelogue ‘Guns and Guitars’ for DHRUV CREATIVE PRODUCTION, Mumbai which is screened in various film festivals like Sanctuary film festival Australia, Colortape international film festival etc.
• As a resource person conducted on job training in ENG for the EMPC technicians on 14th and 15th March 1016.
• As a resource person in the raining workshop titled “Creating Digital images for Documentation” for the faculty members of IGNOU from 3rd to 9th August, 2017, organised by EMPC.
• Worked as a cameraperson in the documentary film ‘Tribals and Indigenous Knowledge System’ produced by EMPC, IGNOU which has won a ‘Special Jury Award’ in 8th National Science Film Festival of India 2018.
