Ms. Maya Kumari is currently Assistant Registrar in the School of Gender and Development Studies, IGNOU, New Delhi. She received her Masters degree in Sociology, IGNOU and Masters Degree in Hindi from Delhi University. She earned her Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management (IR&PM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Distance Education (PGDDE). Her areas of interest are gender issues especially Gender and Violence focusing on Domestic Violence and she is contributing to all Programmes of SOGDS. She has more than twenty four years of experience in IGNOU.
