STUDENT SERVICES COMMITTEE
Student Services Committee (SSC), a Standing Committee of the Board of Management (BOM) is mandated to recommend and advise action to be taken for improving the services being delivered through the Learner Support Network of the University.
The Learner Support Services Network of the University has evolved and expanded in the past three decades to keep abreast with the learners changing needs, increasing demand for IGNOU courses and with the increase in the number of courses offered by the University. Realizing the need for the scope, procedures and academic efficacy of Support Services to constantly keep pace with the globalised environment and learners’ expectations, new models, innovative approaches and policy shifts are constantly proposed and placed for consideration before the Committee for deliberations and necessary approvals.
I. Powers delegated to the Committee vide BOM held on August 17, 1990 are as under:
